The SHOGI Club, now formally under the auspis of Nihonjinkai, will hold following meetings in November-December.
Dates: 22 November, Friday & 6 December
Times: 17:00-19:00 Lecture – Demonstrations, Instructions, Practice games
Place: ABF Stockholm(Sveavägen 41, 111 83 Stockholm; near Rådmansgatan T-bana station)
Room: Gästriklandsrummet 5F
No registration, entrance fees are required.
The main instructions will be done in Japanese, but can be followed up in English if required.
SHOGI is a board game similar to Chess, commonly played in Japan.
Regardless of your age and the level of knowledge and play, anyone who is interested in the game of SHOGI, and the culture associated with it, is welcome!
