At Japansk Designbutik KIKI with the cooperation towel manufacturer in Tokyo “Kamawanu”, 100 patterns of TENUGUI will be on display / sale on the 28th September(Sat.).
This exhibition is the great opportunity to show swedish and foreigners the aim of using the tenugui in Japan is not only for wiping things and body, but also introducing Japanese wrapping “tsutsumu” style, the culture of traditional Japanese patterns that convey thoughts and hidden “Kigo “seasonal words.
We will also introduce drop-in workshops how to wrap by using a Japanese “Tenugui”cloth. We are very welcome you,your family and your friends!
