The SHOGI Club will resume its meetings on 7 March, at a new venue in Bergsgatan 3, Kungsholmen.<\/p>\n
We will have this time an introductory lecture-demonstration focussing on a game called “Let’s catch the Lion”, (or known in Japanese as DOBUTSU SHOGI). This unique SHOGI variant was designed by Ms Kitao, a professional ladies’ shogi player. It maintains the basic rules of the game of SHOGI, but uses a substantially smaller board, and substantially fewer pieces, which have very cute, colorful illustrations of animals. We hope this workshop will be a good entry point for you to the world of SHOGI.<\/p>\n
The instructions will be provided in Japanese, but can be followed up in English or Swedish if required.<\/p>\n
