Japanese association in Stockholm hosting a Workshop in making Wagashi (traditional Japanese sweets)

During this year’s New Year celebration, we sold wagashi, traditional Japanese sweets. They were immensely popular and were sold out very quickly. Japanska Föreningen i Stockholm is happy to ___ that we are hosting a Wagashi making work shop this Autumn! Fitting to the season, we will be making nerikiri in the shape of pumpkins and Japanese chrysanthemum.

Date: Thursday 17 October (limited to 10 people per session, 1 hour per session)

First session: 17.00
Second session: 18.00

Location: EIJS, European Institute of Japanese Studies
Adress:  Satmätargatan 19C, 113 59 Stockholm (Please enter the building at least 5 minutes before starting for registration.)

It is a 2 minute walk from the clostest metro station, Rådmansgatan.
It is a 5 minute walk from the nearest bus stop, Stadsbiblioteket.

Application
Each participant will make 2 pieces of nerikiri. There will be boxes for those who wish to bring your home home.
Children over 3 years are welcome to participate in the company of an adult. Children from 7 years old are
allowed to participate by themselves.
Workshop leader: Aki Svensson
Language: mainly in English, but Swedish and Japanese when applicable.
Admission fee for members: 100 kr
Admission fee for non-members: 120 kr

3. Membership number. If none, just write that you are not a member of the association.
4. In case of a child under 7 years old, please write the name of the accompanying adult.
